Basic TxP

Limits

Check the Upper Limit box to set an upper threshold level for the Basic Tx Power pass/fail result, and enter the value in dB.

If an upper limit is set, the measurement will check each analysis step relative to the "Exp Power" level set for each analysis step. If it is above the "Exp Power" level plus the Upper Limit value, then the Pass/Fail result is "1". If below, the Pass/Fail result is "0". When Upper Limit is not checked, the measurement will populate the Pass/Fail result with "-1" to signify that no limit was tested.

Check the Lower Limit to set a lower threshold level for the Basic Tx Power pass/fail result, and enter a value in dB.

If a lower limit is set, the measurement will check each analysis step relative to the "Exp Power" level set for each analysis step. If it is below the "Exp Power" level plus the Lower Limit value, then the Pass/Fail result is "1". If above, the Pass/Fail result is "0". When set to OFF, the measurement will populate the Pass/Fail result with "-1" to signify that no limit was tested.

Settings

Enter a value for Digital IF BW in MHz, to manually set the digital IF bandwidth of the receiver path for basic transmit power measurement when None is selected as the radio standard for the acquisition. This is used to set the hardware of the digital receiver.

Use the dropdown list to select a Filter Type to select the type of bandwidth filter that is used when None is selected as the radio standard for the acquisition.; the available choices are GAUSsian, FLATtop, RRC (root raised cosine), and SNYQuist (short Nyquist).

Enter a value for Filter Alpha to specify the width of the filter transition band (Alpha is the ratio of transition BW/2 to the filter bandidth.) This setting does not apply in the case of a flat top filter.

Enter a value for Filter Bandwidth to manually set the bandwidth of the receiver path for basic transimit power measurement when None is selected as the radio standard for the acquisition. This is used to set the hardware filter of the digital receiver.
